One agent does a task. A team runs the job.

A single agent can draft a reply or update a record. An agent team hands work between specialists — one reads, one checks, one drafts, one files — and brings you the moments that need your call.

Agents vs. agent teams

Specialists that hand off cleanly beat one agent doing everything.

A single agent is built for one job: read the inbox, draft the reply, update the record. That's real leverage, and it's where most businesses should start.

An agent team is what you build once a job has more than one kind of step. A new inquiry needs someone to check availability, price the job, draft the quote, and log it in your CRM. One agent could try to do all four — but it would be a jack-of-all-trades. A team hands the work between specialists: a scheduling agent checks the calendar, a pricing agent builds the number, a drafting agent writes the quote, a records agent updates the CRM. Each does its piece well, hands off cleanly, and the team surfaces the result to you for a decision.

  • Each agent is tuned for one step, so it does that step well.
  • Handoffs carry full context — nothing gets re-explained or dropped.
  • One shared record: your CRM, sheet, or database.
  • Approval gates wherever you say — sending, spending, committing.

How an agent team runs

Five moves, handed down the line.

Every team we build runs the same loop — intake, route, work, approve, log. You stay in control; the team does the lifting.

  1. 01 / Intake

    Watch & gather

One agent watches for the trigger — a new lead, a booking request, a job completing — and pulls in everything relevant.

  2. 02 / Route

    Hand to the specialist

It passes the work to the right agent for that step, the way you'd hand a call to the right person on your team.

  3. 03 / Work

Do the piece, pass it on

Each specialist does its part — checks a calendar, prices a job, drafts a document — and hands the result to the next agent in line.

  4. 04 / Approve

    Stop for a human

Before anything customer-facing, billable, or sensitive goes out, the team stops and puts it in front of you.

  5. 05 / Log & learn

    Record & improve

Every handoff is recorded, the outcome feeds back into the team, and you get a clean summary of what happened.

What an agent team gives you

Built like a good crew: each one good at its job.

Every team is assembled around your process. These are the parts we build it from.

Specialists, not one generalist

Each agent is built and tuned for one step, so it does that step well.

Clean handoffs

Work moves between agents with full context, so nothing gets re-explained or dropped.

One shared record

Every agent reads and writes to the same source of truth — your CRM, sheet, or database.

Approval gates by design

You decide which handoffs need a human before the team moves on.

Built on your tools

The team runs on the email, CRM, and calendar you already use — no new system to learn.

Full trace of every step

See exactly which agent did what, when, and why, across the whole job.

Team blueprints

Six teams we can build for a business your size

Every one is custom — shaped to your tools, your data, and the work you actually repeat. These are the shapes that come up most.

Quote-to-cash team

Reads the inquiry, checks pricing and availability, drafts the quote, and updates the CRM once it's approved — then chases the invoice when the job's done.

Inbox + calendar team

Triages incoming messages, matches requests to open slots, drafts the reply with a proposed time, and only books once you confirm.

Field-ops dispatch team

Reads the incoming job, checks which crew is nearest and free, drafts the dispatch message, and logs the job status as it moves.

Intake-to-file team

Pulls data off incoming documents, checks it against your records, flags mismatches for a human, and files the clean ones automatically.

Lead-to-meeting team

Enriches a new lead, scores it against your ideal customer, drafts an outreach message, and books the meeting once you approve the send.

Support-to-resolution team

Reads the ticket, pulls the customer's history, drafts an on-brand answer, and either resolves the routine ones or hands the tricky ones to you.

Human-led, team-operated

More agents, not less control.

The point of a team is leverage without losing the wheel. Every build ships with the brakes on — per agent, not just per team.

Human-in-the-loop at every handoff that matters

Any step involving money, a customer message, or a commitment stops for your sign-off before it moves.

Guardrails per agent

You set what each specialist can touch, spend, and send — not just the team as a whole.

One log for the whole team

Every agent's action is recorded in order, so you can see the full chain, not just the final result.

Your data, your tools, your control

The team runs on infrastructure you own. We don't sell your data or train on it.

Questions

Before you ask

Is an agent team just several chatbots talking to each other?
No. A chatbot answers when asked. Each agent on the team has a job and takes action — checking a calendar, drafting a document, updating a record — then hands its result to the next agent or to you. The team is closer to a small crew than a conversation.
Do I need multiple agents, or will one agent do?
Most businesses should start with one agent on their highest-leverage task. An agent team makes sense once a job has several distinct steps — pricing, drafting, scheduling, filing — that are easier to build and trust as separate specialists than as one do-everything agent.
Will an agent team make decisions without me?
Only within the limits you set. Every build has approval gates on anything sensitive — sending, spending, or committing to a customer. By default the team drafts and waits; over time you decide what it's trusted to finish on its own.
What happens if one agent in the team gets something wrong?
The team is built so a mistake in one step doesn't cascade silently. Each handoff is logged, approval gates catch anything risky before it goes out, and you can review or roll back any step from the log.
How is this different from the single “AI Agents” service?
The AI Agents service builds one agent for one job. An agent team is several of those agents, coordinated, for a job with multiple distinct steps. Many clients start with a single agent and grow into a team as they see where the handoffs are.
How long does an agent team take to build, and what does it cost?
Longer than a single agent, since there's more to coordinate — but we scope it precisely on a free 30-minute call first, and most teams still ship inside a few weeks. Fixed price, agreed before we start. See pricing →
